Our flannel is a soft, medium-weight cotton fabric that has a napped, fuzzy, finish on both sides. This napped finish either comes from brushing or from its characteristic loose weave. Its soft, cozy feel makes it the perfect fabric to keep you warm and comfortable all winter long.
Flannel has been made since the 17th century and likely originated in Wales. Though it was once made of wool, by the 20th century, flannel was more commonly made of cotton. Our flannel is the softest, coziest fabric and made of 100% cotton.
Because flannel is warm and soft to the touch, it’s typically a cold-weather fabric perfect to keep you bundled up. But in any weather or time of year, it is just cozy!
One of the best things about our flannel is that it will get softer as it gets older, meaning it’s a low-maintenance fabric you can just throw in the washer dryer. Ours is 100% cotton and has been pre washed before we make the garments so nothing will shrink, it’ll also wash cleaner and won’t hold odors, making it even easier to care for.
